Current Projects
I'm currently working on rebuilding the web page for St Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Ottawa. This is turning out to be problematic. The revised site is now available at www.barts.caThis page doesn't hold much other content yet - going back to the good old days of "home pages" - but it does provide a link to other online content, such as my gallery of photographs, and some of my publications and other research work:
- Exact enumeration and Monte Carlo results for self-avoiding walks in a slab R Martin, E Orlandini, A L Owczarek, A Rechnitzer and S G Whittington, 2007. J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 40 7509-7521
- The order of the
localization transition for a random copolymer
N. Habibzadah, G.K. Iliev, R. Martin, A. Saguia and S.G. Whittington, 2006, J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 39 5659-5667 - Localization transition for a randomly coloured self-avoiding walk at an interface
Richard Martin et al 2000 J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 33 7903-7918 - Behavior of a Random Copolymer at the Interface Between Two Immiscible Solvents
(Master's Thesis), R. Martin, 2000. - A numerical study of copolymer adsorption
(Final year research project), R. Martin, 1998.
My research was done with Stu Whittington in the Chemical Physics Theory Group at the University of Toronto's Department of Chemistry. While at the University of Toronto I spent time at Hart House, Massey College and Trinity College.
My wife, Janet Martin-Nielsen, studies at the Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Toronto, and is now building her own web presence.
